Aggie Bulldog Real Stitch Tackle Twill Patches

Arrow Emblems had the pleasure of creating these impressive large-sized tackle twill patches for the nation’s top HBCU. .

What is Real Stitch Tackle Twill?

Tackle twill is a design technique in garment decoration that uses custom-cut twill or appliqués sewn onto fabrics. It is mainly used for large designs with big fill areas to save on stitch count. Unlike traditional tackle twill, our Real Stitch Tackle Twill patches come pre-assembled with a heat seal backing so you can easily apply them with a heat press.

Why use tackle twill?

Showcase your mascots or logos with tackle twill, it allows for unique patterns and shapes while still saving on stitch count.  It can go on hoodies, sweaters or even hats for a wide range of apparel, it's also durable enough to go on jerseys for sports teams.

Tackle twill patches can be used for more than just letters and numbers. You can also create logos and mascots for a one-of-a-kind look. This is becoming more and more popular.

What types of organizations can Real Stitch Tackle Twill be used for?

Custom tackle twill patches can be used for fraternities and sororities as well as sports teams. These two-layer tackle twill patches show the mascot for the NCA&T Aggies football team, in three different color combinations: Black on black, blue and gold and even with a printed pattern on black twill. Each style uses embroidery to show the details.
